The Mess on the Blackboard

Pre-Cruise Notes for Experimental Design
After a long group meeting trying to figure out how much water was required for analytical measurements in each type of photochemical experiment to be done in both solar simulator setups, the mess in this picture was left on the blackboard.

I am not sure what it means now, but it made perfect sense at the time!

The T-Shirts are Here!!

Cruise T-Shirts: Yellow for the Sun!
One week until the UGA group boards a plane for Seattle.  Then it's two days to build our laboratory on the ship, get everything running and tied down for operation at sea.

The Miller Lab shipped 30 boxes on 4 wooden pallets out yesterday... please let them be there when we arrive.  Now we are finalizing the experiments that will take place on the ship, figuring our how much water is required, picking up last minute items that didn't make the shipment, and buying our motion sickness meds!!  Won't be long now.
